Wild Rift Patch 5.3d was released on Dec 25, 2024. This update included changes to 9 champions, with 5 buffs, 3 nerfs, 1 adjustment.
Evelynn is always weaker when she does not have her ult ready, so we reduced its cooldown to find more opportunities to lure in her enemies for an attack.
Last Caress
- •Cooldown reduced from 105/85/65 seconds to 95/80/65.
It is difficult for Katarina to join the combat in late phases in the game, so we boosted her damage. If she can spot a good position to dance on the tip of her blade, she will be rewarded.
Voracity
- •Base damage increased from 53 to 235 (based on level) to 55 to 265 (based on level).
- •AP ratio increased from 33 to 75% (based on level) AP to 34 to 90% (based on level).
Preparation
- •Bonus movement speed increased from 30/40/50/60% to 40/50/60/70%.
Death Lotus
- •AP ratio per hit increased from 14 AP to 14.5 AP.
- •Total AP ratio increased from 280% AP to 290%.
We adjusted Rammus’ cooldowns and damaging abilities, so he can launch more frequent attacks on his enemies on lanes while at the same time posing a stronger threat.
Powerball
- •Cooldown reduced from 15/12/9/6 seconds to 12/10/8/6.
Defensive Ball Curl
- •On-hit armor ratio increased from 8% armor to 10%.
Frenzying Taunt
- •Cooldown reduced from 15/14/13/12 seconds to 13.5/13/12.5/12.
Soaring Slam
- •Cooldown reduced from 95/80/65 seconds to 80/70/60.
We buffed Sion’s damage in the laning phase to show off his power to his enemies.
Decimating Smash
- •Minimum base damage increased from 40/65/90/115 to 50/75/100/125.
- •Maximum base damage increased from 80/165/250/335 to 100/185/270/355.
Soul Furnace
- •Base damage increased from 40/75/110/145 to 60/90/120/150.
Restrained by his energy regeneration mechanism, it’s challenging for Zed to manage his lane and his enemies. We adjusted his energy consumption to help him farm better in lane.
Razor Shuriken
- •Energy cost reduced from 70/65/60/55 to 65/60/55/50.
Shadow Slash
- •Energy cost reduced from 50 to 40.
We nerfed Kalista’s damage to make it harder for her to continuously suppress her enemies in the laning phase. She will need more help from her teammates now while farming in the laning phase.
As a marksman that is supposed to take a little bit longer to power up, Tristana was dealing too much damage and pushing very quickly in early phases of games. We nerfed her Attack Damage and Explosive Charge, so she will need more protection from her teammates in the early phase.

- •Base attack damage reduced from 58 to 54.
Explosive Charge
- •Detonation base damage reduced from 65/85/105/125 to 50/75/100/125.
Warwick was dealing too much damage in the early phase of games. We nerfed his damage giving some room for his enemies to fight back.
Eternal Hunger
- •Base damage reduced from 12 to 61 (based on level) to 12 to 46 (based on level).
Jaws of the Beast
- •AP ratio reduced from 100% AP to 90%.
- •Health ratio reduced from 7/8/9/10% target's maximum health to 6/7/8/9%.
Infinite Duress
- •Cooldown increased from 70/60/50 seconds to 80/70/60.
- •Empowered basic attack duration reduced from 5 seconds to 2.5.
- •Total base damage reduced from 175/350/525 to 125/300/475.
Some Vayne players found a method of playing her that does not suit her role, and it creates a negative experience for both her enemies and her teammates. We adjusted some of her abilities and attributes, so she will perform better in her traditional duo lane role.
