Wild Rift Patch 5.3b was released on Nov 13, 2024. This update included changes to 12 champions, with 5 buffs, 5 nerfs, 2 adjustments.

Ekko Wild Rift Patch NotesWREkkoBuff

As a mid-laner, Ekko’s performance has been lackluster. We’re making sure he has an easier time farming in Lane to scale better into the late game.

Timewinder

  • Cooldown reduced from 9/8.5/8/7.5 seconds to 8/7.5/7/6.5.
  • Outbound base damage increased from 85/115/145 to 90/120/150.
  • Rebound base damage increased from 65/100/135/170 to 70/105/140/175.
  • Damage against monsters increased from 100% to 115%.
  • Editor's Note: Patch notes error writes old value of 120% instead of 100%. Last change made in V3.4c.
Lucian Wild Rift Patch NotesWRLucianBuff

We’re adjusting Lucian's abilities to allow for better performance as a marksman.

Stats

  • Base attack damage reduced from 64 to 58.
  • Armor growth increased from 3.9 to 4.5.
  • Magic resistance growth increased from 0.8 to 1.5.

Lightslinger

  • New Innate - Vigilance: Whenever Lucian is healed or shielded by an ally ability, or an enemy champion within 1000 units is immobilized, his next two shots within 6 seconds are empowered to deal 20 (+ 20% AD) bonus magic damage on-hit. He can store up to 4 empowered shots at a time.
  • Second shot AD ratio changed from 50/57.5/65% (at level 1/6/11) AD to 40/55/70% (at level 1/6/11) AD.

Ardent Blaze

  • New Effect: Ally mark triggers now trigger Lightslinger.

Nautilus has been overly reliant on items to be tanky. We’re boosting his Base Stats so he can soak damage for his team even early on.

Stats

  • Base attack damage increased from 58 to 62.

Dredge Line

  • Base damage increased from 60/120/180/240 to 70/130/190/250.
  • AP ratio reduced from 80% AP to 75%.

Titan's Wrath

  • Base shield increased from 55/65/75/85 to 65/75/85/95.
  • Health ratio increased from 12/13/14/15% maximum health to 13/14/15/16%.

To farm her stacks, Shyvana needs to be tankier. We’re boosting her survivability.

Stats

  • Base health increased from 610 to 630.
  • Armor growth increased from 4.3 to 5.

Fury of the Dragonborn

  • Large monster takedown stacks increased from 8 to 10.

Dragon's Descent

  • Fury passive generation increased from 1/1.5/2 to 1.5/2/2.5.
  • Bonus health increased from 230/330/430 to 300/400/500.

  • Base mana increased from 300 to 340.
  • Base mana regeneration increased from 9 to 16.
  • Attack damage growth increased from 3.6 to 4.5.

Eternal Hunger

  • Base damage increased from 12 to 46 (based on level) to 12 to 61 (based on level).
  • AD ratio increased from 15% bonus AD to 20%.

Jaws of the Beast

  • Mana cost reduced from 40/45/50/55 to 40 at all ranks.
  • New effect: Bite is activated with Quick Cast, and Clamp is cast with Aimed cast.

Blood Hunt

  • Cooldown reduced from 80/70/60/50 seconds to 70/60/50/40.
  • New effect: Warwick gains unobstructed vision at 1300 range during the active duration.
  • Active cast target detection range increased to global.

Primal Howl

  • Mana cost reduced from 40 to 30.
  • New effect: Primal Howl can now be recast instantly. If it is recast within 1 second, the ability and the damage reduction is canceled, incurring 55% cooldown.

Infinite Duress

  • : Suppression duration reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1.
  • Targeting paradigm changed from direction to location.
  • Hit effect frequency changed from 3 to 4.
  • Removed: Warwick no longer applies suppression on collision
  • New effect: After landing, Warwick's next basic attack against a champion within 5 seconds will instead dash toward the target to inflict the rest of the ability.

Now that Ambessa is rampaging over the Rift, we are adjusting her survivability to leave room for her opponents to counter.

Repudiation

  • Cooldown: 12/11/10/9s→ 14/13/12/11s
  • Shield value: 73 + 12 per Level + 150% → 125% bonus attack damage

CH-2 Electron Storm Grenade

  • Effect radius reduced from 250 to 230.
  • Inner radius reduced from 125 to 115.

Cozy Campfire

  • Cooldown increased from 20/18/16/14 seconds to 22/20.5/19/17.5.
  • Bonus attack range reduced from 9/11.5/14/16.5% to 9/11/13/15%.

Warm Hugs

  • Bonus movement speed reduced from 12/15/18/21% to 10/13/16/19%.

Damage from Samira is noticeably lower than other marksmen, especially during the mid-game. We’re boosting the damage from her ult to ensure she keeps up.

Inferno Trigger

  • AD ratio per 0.2 seconds reduced from 50% AD to 60%.
  • Total AD ratio reduced from 500% AD to 600%.

  • Recast slow duration reduced from 2 seconds to 1.

Static Field

  • Detonation base damage increased from 200/325/450 to 275/400/525.

Rengar has been terrorizing the Rift ever since his rework. We’re adjusting his damage so players have to choose carefully about when to jump in.

Stats

  • Attack damage growth reduced from 4 to 3.5.

Savagery

  • Base damage reduced from 50/90/130/170 to 40/80/120/160.
  • Empowered base damage increased from 50 to 260 (based on level) to 40 to 250 (based on level).
  • Critical strike damage reduced from 175% to 155%.

Bola Strike

  • AD ratio reduced from 80% bonus AD to 70%.
  • Empowered AD ratio increased from 80% bonus AD to 70%.

Thrill of the Hunt

  • Cooldown increased from 75/65/55 seconds to 85/75/65.
