Vigilant Wardstone Current Status

Vigilant Wardstone has been changed in 9 League of Legends patches. 1 nerf, 7 adjustments. Removed in Patch 26.1.

Recipe:
Active: Consumes a charge of Arcane Cache to place a visible Control Ward at the target location (600 range).
UNIQUE Passive - Arcane Cache: Purchasing a Control Ward stocks it as a charge, up to maximum of 3.
UNIQUE Passive - Behold: Increase your Stealth Ward, Totem Ward, and Control Ward caps by 1.

  • New Stats: 250 health, 25 armor, 30 magic resistance, 20 ability haste.
  • Old Stats: 250 health, 50% base mana regeneration, 10 ability haste.
  • Removed Unique Passive - Blessing of Ixtal: Increases bonus attack damage, bonus health, ability power and ability haste by 20%.

Vigilant was changed from an auto-upgrade from Watchful Wardstone into a gold sink as a result of the general cost of support items shifting downwards. This is intended to be a strong late-game item for those games where your inventory gets full and you still want to be able to buy control wards.

  • Can only be purchased after completing a support quest (1000 gold generated gold).
  • Recipe: Watchful Wardstone + 1200 gold = 2300 gold.
  • Stats: 250 health, 10 ability haste, 50% base mana regeneration.
  • Unique Passive - Arcane Cache: This item can store up to 3 purchased Control Ward.
  • Unique Passive - Behold: Increase your Stealth Ward, Totem Ward, and Control Ward caps by 1.
  • Unique Passive - Chosen of Ixtal: Increases bonus attack damage, bonus health, ability power and ability haste by 20%.
  • Limited to 1 Sightstone item.

Old

  • Automatically upgrades from Watchful Wardstone after completing a support quest (1000 gold generated gold) and reaching level 13.
  • Recipe: Watchful Wardstone + 0 gold = 1100 gold.
  • Stats: 150 health, 15 ability haste.
  • Unique Passive - Arcane Cache: This item can store up to 3 purchased Control Ward.
  • Unique Passive - Behold: Increase your Stealth Ward, Totem Ward, and Control Ward caps by 1.
  • Unique Passive - Blessings of Ixtal: Increases bonus attack damage, bonus health, ability power and ability haste by 12%.
  • Limited to 1 Sightstone item.
