Patch 4.1

Change

Once the mid game hits, it can be hard to get off charges, so we’re making some adjustments so Spectral Sickle feels good, even after the earlier stages of the game.

Unique passive - Tribute

  • Recharge time increased from 10 seconds to 15.
  • Gold per charge increased from 25 gold to 40 gold.

Patch 3.4a

Nerf

While we’re happy to see that the release of new quest items have led to a meaningful increase in agency for the support role, we currently feel that the support economy is ramping up too quickly during the laning phase. To address this, we’re reducing how much gold players earn when consuming charges. Also, to prevent abuse cases with these items in the Dragon Lane, we’re adding a new mechanic to better restrict these items to the support role.

Relic Shield

  • UNIQUE PASSIVE - Spoils of War: Item owner minion gold gained per charge consumption: 135% → 120%
  • Minion gold counted towards quest progress: 63% → 58%

Spectral Sickle

  • UNIQUE PASSIVE - Tribute: Gold gained per charge consumption: 30 → 25

Patch 3.4

New

Spectral Sickle added to Wild Rift

Quest items for Supports are now available in Wild Rift! If you’re familiar with the Support Quest items in League of Legends PC, these will look familiar! These items will transform over the course of a game as you earn gold with them. Spectral Sickle is tailor-made for Support champions who excel at poking (looking at you Sona). If the player attacks an enemy champion or structure while a charge is active, the player will earn bonus gold toward their Quest, allowing them to upgrade Spectral Sickle into Harrowing Crescent and then finally to Black Mist Scythe. When this item transforms into Black Mist Scythe, the player gains access to the powerful Spellcraft passive, which will reduce the cooldown of the item owner's enchantments by a large chunk when they score a kill or assist.
