Quicksilver Enchant has been changed in 5 patches since release in Patch 1.1. 2 buffs, 1 nerf, 2 adjustments. Most recently nerfed in Patch 7.0c.

Active - Quicksilver: Cleanse all crowd control (except Airborne) effects, and gain Cc-immunity for 0.25 seconds.
UNIQUE Passive - Perseverance: Incoming crowd control duration is reduced by 25% (except Airborne, Drowsy, Nearsight, Stasis, and Suppression). After Quicksilver ends, gain Tenacity and slow resist for 1.5 seconds.

Quicksilver Enchant’s cooldown is too short, and it also provides a long duration of crowd control immunity, making it difficult for champions who rely on their ultimate abilities for crowd control to take advantage of its downtime, and also making it hard for squishy champions to counter assassins and fighters engaging on them. So we’re nerfing iit so that control-oriented champions can better leverage their strengths.

  • Cooldown increased from 60 seconds to 70.
  • Cc-immunity duration reduced from 0.75 seconds to 0.25.

Our original goal with the adjustments we made to Quicksilver was to make it more capable of preventing layered crowd control from enemies by giving it an immunity window. But, the duration currently seems to be too short for most players to take advantage of it, so we’re increasing that immunity window to meet our goals for the reworked Quicksilver.

Unique Active - Quicksilver

  • Duration increased from 0.5 seconds to 0.75.
Patch 3.3Change

Quicksilver has had trouble competing in the defensive space with other actives like Stasis, so we’re looking to push it into a space as the clear counter to crowd control. Adding both a short duration on the immunity and some additional Tenacity and Slow Resistance afterwards should reduce the sensitive timing required to make good use of this item as well as empower the enchant to be extremely effective against incoming crowd control, not just one specific spell.

Unique active - Quicksilver

  • New Effect: Grants Cc-immunity for 0.5 seconds.
  • Removed: No longer grants 50% bonus movement speed for 1.5 seconds.

New Unique passive - Preseverance:

  • After Quicksilver ends, gain 30% Tenacity and 30% slow resist for 1.5 seconds.
