Removed in Patch Patch 3.4 - September 14, 2022
Hextech Megadrive has been changed in 4 patches since release in Patch 2.6. 3 buffs, 1 adjustment. Removed in Patch 3.4.
Hextech Megadrive’s active can create for some cool moments and plays for champions like Morgana and Alistar. Aside from the active, this item can grant champions a nice early-game power spike, but right now it's not really hitting that mark. So, we’re reducing its cost so you can snag it earlier on.
General
- Total cost reduced from 2700 gold to 2550 gold.
- Combine cost reduced from 650 gold to 500 gold.
Champions with multi-target, long cooldown crowd control abilities had difficulty making use of Hextech Megadrive as the cooldown refund only occurred once. Now they will be able to enjoy a huge cooldown reduction when they immobilize multiple enemies.
Unique passive - Tinker
- New Effect: Immobilizing effect cooldown reduction now triggers multiple times if an effect hits multiple enemy champions at once.
Hextech Megadrive is not offering as much cooldown refund for enchanters as we’d like, so we’re reducing the cooldown on the refund to allow more access to this mechanic for support champions with cooldown heals and shields.
Unique passive - Tinker
- Refund cooldown for heals and shields reduced from 5 seconds to 3.
