Mejai's Soulstealer has been changed in 2 patches since release in Patch 4.4. 1 nerf, 1 adjustment. Most recently nerfed in Patch 4.4a.

Recipe:
UNIQUE Passive - Glory: Generate 3/4 stacks for each champion kill and 2 stacks for each assist, stacking up to 30. Lose 10 stacks on death.
UNIQUE Passive - Fear: For each stack of Glory you gain 5 ability power, up to 150. You also gain 10% bonus move speed while you have at least 10 stacks.

Mejai’s Soulstealer can allow mages to snowball exponentially so it should come with bigger risks. We’re nerfing its base stats to reflect that.

General

  • Total cost increased from 1500 gold to 1800 gold.
  • Combine cost increased from 1000 gold to 1300 gold.
  • Ability power reduced from 30 to 25.
  • Health reduced from 100 to 70.

Recipe:

  • Amplifying Tome + 1000 gold = 1500 gold.

Stats:

  • 30 ability power, 100 health, 7% magic penetration.

Unique Passive - Glory:

  • Generate Melee 3 / Ranged 4 stacks for each champion kill and 2 stacks for each assist, stacking up to 30. Lose 10 stacks on death.

Unique Passive - Fear:

  • For each stack of Glory you gain 5 ability power, up to 125. You also gain 10% bonus movement speed while you have at least 10 stacks.
